Did everyone have a nice 4th of July? Wow, was it hot this past week! I was very thankful for having family with pools in the area! But the weather seems to be letting up next week so that will be a nice reprieve.
June 2024 was a strong month overall for North San Luis Obispo County. The median sales price was up across the board; Atascadero saw a 3% increase, Paso Robles a 20% increase and Templeton a 64% increase. Home sales when comparing June 2024 to June 2023 were very similar as well. Atascadero reported 26 homes selling in June 2024 compared to 24 in 2023, Paso Robles saw 40 homes sold compared to 43 and Templeton had 8 homes sold compared to 9 this time last year.
A statistic that is consistently remaining high is the percentage when we compare the average sales price to the average list price. Sellers in both Atascadero and Templeton received 99% of the list price when selling their home and Paso Robles sellers received 98%. Homes continue to close at or just below list price indicating that our real estate market is still strong here on the Central Coast.
