Anyone else done with this 90 degree heat and ready for some Fall weather? I know I am! I’m ready for sweater weather, fires in the fireplace and hopefully some rain.
August was a strong month for North San Luis Obispo County. The median sales price went up in Atascadero ($850,000, a 25% increase), Paso Robles ($766,000, a 14% increase) and Templeton ($1,010,000, a 9% increase). However, the total number of homes sold decreased in Paso Robles (38 homes, a 24% decrease) and Templeton (7 homes, a 30% decrease) but increased in Atascadero (26 homes, an 8% increase). These statistics show that even with less homes sold, home prices are continuing to rise here on the Central Coast.
When comparing the average sales price to the average list price, homes are closing at or slightly below the list price. This continues to be the trend proving home prices are remaining strong. The other interesting data worth mentioning is the number of active homes on the market. We are seeing an increase in the number of homes available on the market each month. The uptick is encouraging for home buyers here on the Central Coast.
Here are some statistics for Atascadero, Paso Robles and Templeton for the month of August 2024. If you would like to see information on other Central Coast cities, please let us know.
