Baxter’s family moved to San Luis Obispo County, when he was in sixth grade and he is a proud graduate of San Luis Obispo Sr. High School. He has lived in the county ever since then.

Based on his detailed knowledge of the county, he was appointed County Film Commissioner, in the SLO County Visitors and Conference Bureau. In that position, he attracted ad agencies and film production companies to use our unique scenic locations, for advertisements and movies. Baxter uses this knowledge to help his clients find their dream spot.

Baxter also brings a background of central coast luxury hotel management to the Malik Real Estate Group, and strives to always provide his clients with a 5-star quality Real Estate experience.

An avid student of local history, he is also an artist and paints our beautiful local landscapes in oils. He and his wife have cared for their property, in the hills between Atascadero and Morro Bay, for over 32 years.
